- AUT regard Kanban scheduling as an enhancement on basic scheduling
- AUT must locate the AUT stock close to the point of customers manufacture and AUT must receive prompt notification of stock usage so the stock can be promptly replaced along with the components that go to make up the stock
- AUT believe there are numerous ways of setting up a Kanban process however it is only at its most effective when very good communications are maintained between the customer and AUT
- AUT believe the object of a Kanban process is to try and eliminate the customer’s risk of stock out
