- AUT know that without the correct stock, many enquiries will not turn into purchase orders
- AUT holds two types of stock. Firstly stock where the quantity held is based on historical demand and secondly stock held against customers purchase orders
- Stock is often held in component form and is only assembled once a purchase order has been received
