About Stainless Steel Castors

Our extensive range of stainless steel wheels and castors means, whatever your application, we have you covered. The range is unique, as we can offer some extremely heavy carrier capacities for the most unusual applications. Stainless steel housing is used predominantly in the food industry, in medical applications, such as hospitals and veterinary surgeries, and where chemicals are present such as laboratories.

Stainless steel castors are known for being strong and durable, meaning they have an excellent load capacity. Alongside this, many of the castors in our range have a great rolling resistance and temperature range. You can compare each series in this range by their wheel diameter, wheel hardness, load capacity, rolling resistance and temperature range – simply scroll on our page and find the series that best fits your requirements.

Always using the highest grade 304 stainless steel possible, you can be confident the stainless product will match your standards. There are many reasons why you should invest in grade 304 stainless steel, many people don’t understand what this term means. Grade 304 steel is known for its excellent corrosion resistance due to the high amounts of chromium and nickel in it, able to withstand corrosion and not become damaged due to chemicals or oxidising acids.

Whatever application you need your castor for, we’re sure to have a product for you. Each of the stainless steel castors and wheels we stock have been designed and built for a specific purpose in mind. For example, our Series 68P is used for medium-heavy capacities making it perfect for the food and canning industries. Our Series 73AE contains wheels with excellent elasticity features and rolling resistance, so they’re absolutely ideal for uneven surfaces.

Also within our stainless range, our Series ATS features a polypropylene wheel with a thermoplastic tread suitable for many different types of trolleys, this series can be used on fragile floors and is commonly used on shop display units, tool trolleys and supermarket trolleys. The Series 67 features a thermosetting resin high temperature wheel, this makes them perfect for the food industry, in bakeries and in cooking ovens. As you can see, we’ve got an extremely diverse range of stainless steel castors in our range, and they all are suited to different requirements, so you might want to go through each individual series to find the one that matches what you want it to do.

However, we understand that sometimes an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution just isn’t right for you or your company and you need a bespoke wheel or castor designing and building.
